Full Student Loan Requirements
You must be a full or part-time student to qualify.
Full-time student: 60% normal university course load as designed by your educational institution
Part-time student: 1 course per school year/semester/trimester
Application Requirements
- Confirmation of enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary education institution (College, University, Career College, Registered Apprenticeship, Job Training program)
- An estimate of education costs which include tuition, supplies, fees, accommodations, food, travel, or other related expenses
- A list of financial resources including any savings earned, bursaries, summer employment, or other income
- A suitable guarantor or ability to meet standard lending requirements (a parent or guardian who meets standard lending requirements is eligible to be co-applicant or suitable guarantor)
